BRINGO IS Back!
What is BRINGO?
BRINGO is a game that helps us all get into the spirit of the holidays and giving.
Bayview PS will once again do our part to support our community during the holiday season by making a donation to our local food bank. Again this year, we will attempt to raise some money and make a donation in lieu of our non perishable food items that we have donated in the past.
Although every little bit helps, we are suggesting a donation of a toonie. But would gladly accept more. If each student were to donate at least $2 we would raise over $700, but our goal is to reach $1,000 (last year we surpassed $1,200.00).
When sending donations, we would kindly ask that if possible you only send loonies, toonies or bills as it saves us on rolling all the various coins, but understand if that doesn’t work.
As a thanks for the $2.00 donation, students will receive a BRINGO card (similar to Bingo.) Students can earn a maximum of 2 cards for larger donations.
How does one win?
Each day BRINGO numbers will be called over the announcements, at which time students will begin to mark off the numbers on their cards. Teachers will record numbers in class so that students who may be away can catch up upon their return. As students fill their card, they have a chance to win some exciting prizes. Classes will also be playing for a class reward.
What is the time frame for BRINGO?
BRINGO will begin on Monday December 5, and run until Tuesday December 20.
