Dear Bayview Families:

Everyone loves to get mail from a friend or family member! During the month of December, one of the focuses of our writing program will be on letter writing skills. Our students will learn how to write and address letters correctly.

The halls at our school have street names and each room in the school has been numbered. Our elves will collect, sort, and deliver the letters every few days. The Mailbox will be open for business on December 1st and mail will run until December 22nd.

Incorrectly addressed envelopes make it difficult to track down where the letter is intended to go, but we will try our best.

Parents, family and friends are welcome to participate. In order to do so the letter will need to be marked with the receiving student’s name and the teacher, so that elves will know where to take it. If you bring it to school and ring the bell we will come and get it and drop in the mailbox. It is always a great surprise when students get notes/letters from family.
